ah skidoo, try listening to my favorite radio station kcrw based in santa monica california. they have a variety of music to listen to and oftentimes they feature new artists. stuff that is hard to find in france.

I agree, Francis Cabrel's song about bullfights is, IMHO, one of the top 10 french song ever. Prose is worth listening and music is beautifull.
Advice : listen to www.nostalgie.fr and you'll discover the whole depth of french music and understand it's not only about lyrics, melodies compete easily with US/English standards.
I live in US for 6 years now. The big difference between you and I, is that nothing for me was new when i turned on my radio. That's really a shame french music is so unknown in US. So much i'm planing to create a french radio in Miami !

hmmm. i'm afraid he probably won't be touring for a long while. (but i hope i'm wrong) i mean, i just saw him last april and it had been FIVE YEARS before that since he'd released a cd and toured. he does do collaborative concerts here and there but when he has to share the stage, that is not enough francis! if i find out about anything, i will definitely post about it on this site.

Any idea when Francis Cabrel will be making any performances - this year or next - yet? I want to start saving my pennies to come to France to see hi!
