This photo is from Google Earth and was taken from space. You can actually see the people lining up to take the elevators up the Eiffel Tower! They say that now photos taken from space can photograph something as small as a one euro coin. That is serious zoom in power at work.

Strange; before I went to bed last night, I “passed over” the Eiffel Tower” with Google Earth, and now you’ve mentioned it! I checked out Brussels (pretty good, but not as good resolution as this), and also went to Astaffort where it was just all blurry and fuzzy, and I couldn’t see any of its citizens.
awww. no need to see the citizens of astaffort from space when you’ll see one (a good one too!) just inches away from you in june AND in person. yay!!
