Cicadas are really huge and noisy and they die wherever and whenever they please...you see the dead ones all over the place and the shells of their cocooned bodies when they hatch, just lying on plants...eww. you brought a smile to my face, pt! but, I can honestly relate to the BIG bug thing and unusual bug thing here in Japan too.
