I wanted to argue that 20 pcs of little towels in those big boxes did not seem realistic but I checked on the web and the Groupe Deveaux is a big textile manufacturer. Sometime in the 1930's, one of his friends had gone to a North African French colony (I don't remember if it was Algeria, Morocco, or Tunisia), and had brought back, as a present for his parents, a rug that he had bought at a <i>souk</i> there. But when his parents saw the tag on the back of the rug, they immediately realized that this rug had been manufactured at his own father's textile mill, in Roubaix! This was the era when not everything was made in China yet.
