I’m amused at all the people here pretending to be surprized that people are grossed out by breast milk cheese. Everyone is influenced by food taboos, and even the most “sophisficated” and “open-minded” probably have some, even if they’re pretending not to have any.

The people saying it’s disgusting, I think misunderstand how breast tissue makes and stores milk, view breasts as only having a sexual function and believe that cows are fresh pasterurised milk bottles with a foil covered screw cap!

I had a very tasty breast milk latte not to long ago. A friend was breast feeding her son, but he had gone to stay with his grandparents for a weekend, so she pumped enough milk to last his visit. She took advantage of his vacation and went out for a few drinks on the first night. She had to keep pumping, of course, but couldn’t give the alcohol-tainted milk to her son, so I asked that she give it to me. I steamed it and added three shots of espresso and it was great. Sort of like a slightly sweet skim milk.

Funny how it’s Frank and David who so adamantly state that breast milk cannot curdle. Have either of you ever forgotton a bottle with breastmilk in it in a diaper bag for a day or two? Obviously not, or you’d know that it does in fact curdle. And smell hor-awful! I don’t know that it can or cannot be made into cheese. It does seem natural to me for humans to consume human milk, but perhaps only their mother’s milk, and not some random woman’s. I’ve tasted my own breast milk and it’s pretty good. It’s sweet and light. Though it does have a high fat content, it’s still fairly thin, not like cows milk…well, maybe like 1-2%, but sweeter. And because it’s not homogenized, the “cream”, if you will, will separate to the top if you leave it in the fridge for a few hours.

During their lifetime, humans refuse to give back to nature, depriving it. We contaminate our kitchen and bathroom wastes with toxic cleaning products before storing them. We keep our putrefying bodies out of Mother Nature’s reach by keeping them in concrete caskets to give us a fake sense of timelessness to overcome our sense of vulnerability to death. Mother Nature keeps on giving, but its generosity has its limits if we don’t return the favor. We are like parasites, living on a host, threatening to kill it by our sheer greed and numbers. I have personally seen animals that died from loss of blood to leeches, fleas, lampreys. Let’s reconnect with Nature before it’s too late.

Can’t be any more disgusting than drinking milk and eating cheese from cows. Hell, I’d take milk products made from my own species before I go to the store and buy pesticide and pus laden cow milk. *shudder* With this stuff, its organic *laughs*, comes from your OWN species, and there won’t be nearly as pesticide laden as the cows who are abused and used past their natural capacities. And lets face it, soy cheese SUCKS. XD

How many cows are fed with hormons, antibiotics, transgenic cereals ? Do you care about that when you eat cheese ?… unless you only eat no-taste ultra-pasterized “chemical” cheese (who can call that a cheese ?). Have you ever eard talking about “Roquefort”, “Camember” or “Munster” made of fresh and not pasterized milk and the way they are produced ?

Women-milk cheese DOES exists, it’s absolutly not a hoax.

I think there is only one thing to really consider.
Being that we humans have so many freedom(s). How do you insure this milk has no disease? Or does not contain anything harmful? Especially from mothers with health conditions or take medications. Other than that, I see it as no different than from a cow or goat, etc. And I would try it if it was possible. Women are gifted with these beautiful and amazing abilities. It makes me smile.
