sarkozy drunk press conference g8

I couldn’t resist posting this video of a giggly, drunk President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy giving a press conference at the G8. I suppose if I were a world leader, I’d drink heavily too. Somehow, this sort of makes him more like-able. Wait, what am I saying?! No, not “like-able” but human, albeit a drunk, slurring President of France Nicolas Sarkozy kind of human. Anyway, always remember one thing: he is STILL an evil politician.

At least he has an excuse for acting goofy, unlike a certain other commander-in-chief…

The video is hilarious and makes Sarko “sympathique.” Though his staff says he wasn’t drunk, he sure looks like it, or at least jolly. He was coming out of a meeting with Putin, perhaps old Vlad challenged his skills at handling vodka — which can have some serious “kaboom” effects on someone who never drinks, as Sarko pretends. Either that, or there was a nice lady involved…

Drunk or not, I think his behaviour is a shame. I don’t want him to be a human like another one, I want him to act properly when he’s in public. If he wanna be drunk at home, that’s his problem, but I think his counsellors shouldn’t have let him appear in front of the press (how dumb !)…

I snorted my coffee up my nose. A painful experience yes, but SO worth it.

Perhaps not drunk, but giggly. I would have voted for this Sarkozy.

More jolly politicians here: http://tinyurl.com/yqp2n5

Someone told me that he never drinks (or is said to). Don’t know, maybe he just climbed 8 stairs because he was late and couldn’t wait for the elevator, or maybe he just run (but he’s used to run, even in frot of the cameras. I heard from a doctor on the radion that he doesn’t run the good way. The way he puts his feet down on the ground means he has back problems, and so on).
Maybe it wasn’t alcool but something else… who knows?

this video makes me laugh so much too (luckily i wasn’t drinking coffee at the time, j). of course, we have seen other world leaders make asses of themselves as la frog has pointed out. bush is such a jackass! sarko’s behavior isn’t as bad or stupid as bush’s but he probably shouldn’t be doing that in public (i agree, s), drunk or not, or whether it was alcohol or another mind-altering substance…

Yeah, it’ s funny. :) Maybe a certain president (I mean “President”) I know could kind give him some tips on what to do after you’ve embarrassed yourself in front of the whole damn world. Maybe they can knock back a few together.

I miss Coluche :(

I’m so ashamed to have such a president…It’s time for foreign people to learn a little sentence, very uselful during protests: Sarko, salaud, le peuple aura ta peau!
(Sarko, bastard, the people will kick you out).
