1983 I moved to Paris for a summer of language school. Barely out of &quot;real&quot; school, I hung out at all those places back then that were &quot;Paris&quot;.

Le Palace, Bain Douche and during waking hours at Cafe Costes. What a place. 
I had no idea who the heck he was or what &quot;design&quot; meant back then, but that Cafe made an impact.
Yes he did design a lot of strange items or buildings, but also some real cool ones. 

Did you see his yacht designs? Wedge Too (conventional) and Sigma (highly unconventional)?</description>

		<description>Hi, I just took a look at the web site. I have never seen so many spelling mistakes - it&#039;s embarrassing! I&#039;m with you on the masks, do you really want to go to bed and wake up with one of those next to you?

Interesting concept though.  I agree with you about Starck. He spent the last 30 years designing &#039;stuff&#039; then a few years ago, turns his back on the design world for being unecological...he&#039;s got a nerve! And my husband looks like him ;) It&#039;s true...</description>
